WHAT IS THE MILL?
The Mill is a Barre and Reformer Pilates studio focused on building full-body strength, flexibility, balance, and resilience. We combine reformer Pilates and barre workouts to help you improve movement quality, prevent injury, and feel stronger and more confident in your body.
WHAT TYPES OF CLASSES DO YOU OFFER?
Reformer Pilates — Resistance-based reformer classes that build strength, coordination, and mobility.
Barre — High-repetition, low-impact movements to tone muscles, improve alignment, and increase stability.
Barre + Pilates Combo — Blend of both class styles for variety and balanced conditioning.
WHO CAN TAKE CLASSES AT THE MILL?
Anyone from beginners to advanced fitness levels. Our instructors cue modifications and progressions to meet you where you are, whether it’s your first class or your thousandth.
HOW DO I BOOK MY FIRST CLASS?
Classes are booked through our scheduling platform (Mindbody). You can sign up online or through the Mindbody app. It’s recommended to book ahead as classes have limited reformer spots.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS?
- Comfortable, breathable workout clothes
- Grippy socks (recommended for reformer & barre)
- Water bottle / towel
We provide reformers, mats, and all necessary equipment.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
You must cancel or reschedule at least 12 hours before class start time. If you cancel later than that, a $15 fee may apply for membership & new client specials. Package credits are lost if not cancelled within the window.
DO YOU OFFER DROP-IN CLASSES?
Yes — drop-ins are available at member rates as a perk. Members can also bring one friend free per month. Standard drop-in pricing for non-members varies by class type.
ARE PRIVATE SESSIONS AVAILABLE?
Yes. One-on-one 55-minute private sessions are available — contact the studio to schedule. Pricing varies depending on instructor and package.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT IN MY FIRST CLASS?
Arrive ~10 minutes early to check in and get oriented. Expect a full-body challenge — reformer classes emphasize resistance work, while barre focuses on small-muscle engagement and endurance.
HOW MANY TIMES SHOULD I PRACTICE TO SEE RESULTS?
Consistent attendance is key. Many clients see noticeable improvements in strength and mobility with regular classes (2–4x/week), but everyone’s body is different.
CAN I BENEFIT IF I’M NEW TO PILATES OR BARRE?
Absolutely. All fitness levels are welcome. We suggest starting with foundational reformer and barre classes to build confidence and form.
WHAT IF I HAVE AN INJURY OR SPECIAL CONDITION?
Consult your physician before starting any new fitness program. Once cleared, modifications can be provided in class — and private sessions are a great option to address specific needs.
HOW DO MEMBERSHIPS WORK?
Memberships provide unlimited classes with benefits like one free guest pass per month and retail discounts. Minimum commitments and pricing vary by plan type.
